DANIEL ORTEGA
DJ and producer, Daniel Ortega developed a unique interest in music quite
early, he found that music was in his blood from a tender age. He has
established a wide reputation for excellent technical DJ mixes and inspiring,
colorful selection of tracks. This has been his trademark since he started out
in 1998, and he has been keeping it real on the decks ever since.
Playing his first gig at the age of 16, it took only a couple of years before
little Ortega was a household name on the Norwegian club scene, as the
young, fresh talent. He has done a lot of dj-ing in cities all over Europe with
gigs in selected venues in cities as far apart as Oslo, Helsinki, Hamburg,
Barcelona, Paris, London, and Stockholm and not to mention Ibiza. His time
there broadened the range of his musical affinities and taught him to
empathize, an essential quality for a skilled DJ.
Before 2008-ended Daniel gave out a fresh soulful single “Inner Eye“ with the
vocalist Fabal, known from the song “Sombrita” that was produced with the
polish duo WAWA. The “Inner Eye” track included mixes from Francesco Diaz
and Panevino. And just as 2009 has begun he’s already into several projects
with notable producers/djs.
Daniel Ortega has been the chosen DJ for red-carpet gigs like the Nordic
Music Awards, Oslo Fashion Week and parties for leading music and lifestyle
magazines amongst others. Daniel Ortega has performed throughout
Scandinavia & Europe. He has been dj-ing alongside such notable djs as
Francesco Diaz, Axwell, Roger Sanchez, Bob Sinclar, Jamie Lewis, Jerry
Ropero, Denis The Menace, Eric Prydz and many, many more…..
